One Thing I Can Do To Change the Whole World

We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failing of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.” — Romans 15:1-3, ESV

Loving others. Help others. Encourage and build up others.

What would happen if humanity simply applied this one passage? How would things look? How would things change? What difference would we see?

My opinion: everything would change. Everything would look different. And it starts with me.

And my example? Jesus. He did not come for his own pleasure and benefit, but for ours. He took my reproach so that I wouldn’t have to. He endured so that I would make it. He suffered so that I might be with him.

He’s the example.

Jesus – Help me be the change to see this passage become the norm around me, not for my benefit, but to your glory and to the benefit of everyone else.
