Grow Up and Be a Kid

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3 NIV)

“Unless you change…”

So Jesus understands the need for change in my life. He knows that I am not the “child” that he wants me to be. He knows that change has to happen in my life to be the one who can accept and receive the kingdom of God like a little child.

The greatest in the kingdom of heaven? Jesus picks a child out of the crowd to represent the greatest in GOD’S kingdom.

Innocent.
Simple.
Believes.
Dependent.

Jesus,
It’s hard to go back to this. It’s hard to be a child when I’ve stopped living as one. It’s hard, but I believe you and your word. Your opinion is truth. But I can’t do this alone. Please show me what you’re using to chisel away the “adult” in me so that I may be the “child” that you desire me to be.
